easyJet A320neo on the runway in wintery conditions

easyJet has finalised its 2026/27 winter schedule for the former Yugoslav markets making several tweaks over the past week. It will introduce additional capacity in Slovenia, make targeted frequency adjustments in Serbia, and maintain a limited winter presence in Croatia. While the carrier continues to expand in Ljubljana, it will also suspend several services during the off-peak season, including the previously announced withdrawal from the Paris Orly - Skopje route.

In Ljubljana, the low-cost carrier will operate between three and six additional weekly flights compared to the previous winter season, depending on the month. It will launch a new three weekly service between London Luton and the Slovenian capital on October 26, increasing to four weekly from November 23. The airline is also boosting frequencies on its London Gatwick - Ljubljana route. Initially scheduled to operate five times per week, the service will run daily from November 30 until January 3. Meanwhile, easyJet's new Manchester - Ljubljana route will operate twice weekly during the winter season but will be suspended between January 5 and February 13.

In Belgrade, easyJet will operate two weekly flights from Geneva, increasing to three weekly from November 30 until January 3, after which the route will operate daily for one week. Frequencies will then range between two and four weekly until February 15, before increasing to four weekly for the remainder of the winter season. Services from Paris Charles de Gaulle will operate twice per week until January 11, after which they will be suspended until February 5. Flights will then resume until February 19, before being suspended again.

As previously reported, easyJet is discontinuing flights between Paris Orly and Skopje from October 24. Services between Geneva and the Macedonian capital will operate twice per week throughout the winter season, with the exception of the period between January 4 and January 10, when four weekly flights will be maintained.

Operations to Pristina from Berlin, Basel, Geneva, Lyon and Zurich will remain unchanged this winter compared to last, with the exception of January. During the month, the airline will add three additional weekly flights from Basel compared to January 2026, bringing the total to thirteen per week, as well as one extra weekly service from both Geneva and Berlin, increasing frequencies to thirteen and three weekly, respectively.

Despite serving most of its Croatian coastal routes on a seasonal basis, easyJet will operate up to eight weekly flights in the market during November, as well as a two weekly service in February. The airline will extend its London Gatwick - Split service into November with two weekly flights. However, this comes at the expense of the Manchester - Dubrovnik route, which will not operate at all during the winter season, unlike last year when it was maintained twice weekly throughout November. Other services operating during November at the same level as last year include flights from London Gatwick and Berlin to Split. The airline will then suspend all operations to Croatia until February 13, when it plans to resume a twice-weekly London Gatwick - Dubrovnik service.

Having 11x weekly flights to LON is a huge increase compared to previous years, I guess the demand really is there. Gonna hear a lot of Brits in Ljubljana for this winter. Pity about the MAN downgrade, I guess the loads really weren’t the best in January.

They did fly 4pw on their Skopje Geneva route (up from 2pw) the first round. Then they ended the operations, and then came back again with 2 pw then the government gave out new money. Lets see how long they stick aorund this time. Last time they had 66k+ passangers in a year if I remember correctly.

All 3 ULCCs already fly to Serbia. I can't imagine moral suffering, pains and scruple those airlines have to go through when deciding to deal with impeccable, reliable and fully transparent governments in Albania, Bosnia, Moldova, N Macedonia, Montenegro and many other wonderful places they fly to.

Sure, if we forget B&H passenger departure tax and many other follies. Easy and Ryan will jump on the opportunity to displace Wizz and are more than capable of negotiating terms. Belgrade is close to a 10 million annual pax airport that's worth fighting for, not some Tuzla backwater where Ryan quickly retreated. We'll see.

Pity that other than London-Ljubljana there is nothing new. They are adding 13 new routes from 8 UK airports this winter.

UK is pretty much covered from LJU for now, there are other much more needed routes.

Bristol - Ljubljana would be a natural EasyJet route, as would Naples.

I think that someone will break the ice, because its odd that there is demand for 2+ weekly flights to London and yet “no demand” for other routes. Day 1097 in waiting for LCC step in :D
