Ljubljana Airport has selected Sittig Technologies’ PAXGuide platform to automate passenger announcements. The system will introduce automated boarding announcements at all gates and centralized announcement management, using text-to-speech technology in English and Slovenian. The cloud-based solution will be integrated with the airport’s existing public address system and is expected to reduce the need for manual announcements. Neža Markač, Airport Technology Expert at Ljubljana Airport, said, “We are pleased to partner with Sittig Technologies on this important step in the modernization of our passenger communication processes. By introducing automated and centralised announcement management, we aim to provide a more consistent, and high-quality experience for our passengers while supporting our staff with smarter digital tools. The new system will simplify daily workflows for our operational teams, reduce dependence on manual processes, and contribute to a more seamless and reliable passenger experience throughout the airport".
