NEWS FLASH
Turkish Airlines’ low cost subsidiary AJet has launched a charter flight programme between Konya and Belgrade. The weekly Saturday service will run until August 29 and is being chartered by Turkish tour operators. The week-long tour packages begin either in Belgrade or Skopje, complementing the carrier's existing charter programme to the Macedonian capital, and include visits to Podgorica, Sarajevo and Mostar. Some of the tour packages see passengers starting their journey in Belgrade return from Skopje, while those beginning their tour in Skopje fly back from Belgrade, creating an open-jaw itinerary across the region. Tickets can only be purchased as part of tour packages with local tour operators such as Riza Turizm and Konsey tur, originating from Konya in central Turkey.
