easyJet has responded to Wizz Air’s plans to open a base at Pristina Airport from mid-November by introducing additional flights on one of its key routes, as well as introducing flights between London Luton and Pristina.
easyJet has responded to Wizz Air’s plans to open a base at Pristina Airport from mid-November by introducing additional flights on one of its key routes, as well as introducing flights between London Luton and Pristina.
Starting November 16, the airline will add a third daily service between Basel and Pristina on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, increasing operations on the route to a total of eighteen weekly flights. The carrier had initially planned to maintain two daily services between the two cities.
easyJet will also launch a new limited seasonal service between London Luton and Pristina, starting December 7. Flights will run three times per week, concluding on January 22, 2027. Wizz Air maintains year-round operations on the route, which will be maintained five times per week over the upcoming winter season, increasing to daily over the peak holiday period.

ReplyDeleteInstead of opening new routes - they go crazy and compete with existing market to a country which already has like 200 flights weekly!
Soon there will be a flight from PRN to CH every 7 minutes 😅
Whereas cities like Amsterdam, Ljubljana, Budapest, Athens, Barcelona etc. are never even considered.

@17:12 that still isn't confirmed. And I'm sure one day we'll see far greater LCC wars over that airport 100 miles north of Pristina. That's the aviation game.
