NEWS FLASH
Croatia Airlines is advancing several passenger-facing technology projects aimed at simplifying bookings, airport payments and communication during operational disruptions. The carrier said it completed testing of a new passenger notification system and placed its Base (Adhoc) and Disruption platforms into production at the end of June, enabling it to provide passengers with more efficient information when flights are delayed, cancelled or otherwise affected. Work is also underway on introducing the automatic issuance of vouchers during such disruptions. Separately, a system allowing passengers to pay for additional services at airport check-in desks has entered production following development work carried out during 2025 and early 2026, with final quality checks and preparations for its full integration into operational processes now in progress. Croatia Airlines also began implementing a new online booking engine during the first quarter of the year. The preparatory phase has been completed and implementation is continuing, with the airline saying the new platform will be simpler and more intuitive than the existing system and will contribute to an improved overall customer experience.

DeleteThey should use the situation an strengthen their position, now when LH-Group is reducing flights to the region.
ReplyDeleteThey could also fly routes for the LH-Group instead of Air Baltic.
We could arrange it so that we fly for Swiss on their routes to Croatia and nearby, so the crew would be home every day.
Delete@anon 11:49: Sounds good, but when will the OU management do something about it? :(
DeleteThey should increase their presence in the region. To lure people from the region they, need a better network.
What motivates people from BEG, SJJ or TGD to fly with Croatia Airlines? Unfortunately, they just fly to SJJ out of there three cities.
@14:22 anon
DeleteThey could copy countries nearby like AirSerbia or Montegero – they serve routes that are only profitable, not others.
I think no one wants to take over OU management because they can’t handle things.
@17:46: "True words. OU has a strange strategy. They had a good political climate for launching routes to the region approx. a decade ago, when the political situation was a bit more relaxed.I suppose that the OU management and their political patrons will ruin the company on purpose. It is a feat to be so bad in such a market."
DeleteMaybe getting some more passengers first.
ReplyDeleteI had to book a flight yesterday and the booking engine was terrible. The app is unusable. They need to improve things asap
ReplyDelete+1.
DeleteI had a flight from SJJ via ZAG to MUC. I could not check-in online...
They are really bad sometimes. Really bad, altough I like their service and their crew.

ReplyDeleteI bought four tickets tonight, with more than 60 eur discount and the only a bit time-consuming thing was to fill in my complete address on the payment order, since I did not register. So, unlike this reader, my experience is quite positive.
ReplyDeleteYou are aware that discount was for one day only, Aug 7, and your post is timed at 14.49 while saying you bought 4 tickets "tonight". So, it was a nice try, but Buzin 3rd floor post is visible from the Moon. Cheers!
