Macedonian airports see strong growth

Macedonia's two international airports - Skopje and Ohrid - have recorded strong passenger growth in January. Combined, the two handled 113.886 travellers, an increase of 25.7% compared to the same month last year. The number of operated flights also grew, with a total of 1.139 aircraft movements recorded, up 13.2%. Separate figures for both airports will be published in the coming days. Skopje Airport was one of the former Yugoslavia's fastest growing last year, handling 1.452.465 passengers, an increase of 20.2%
