Low cost airline Wizz Air launched services from London Luton to Ohrid St. Paul the Apostle Airport yesterday. It marks the carrier’s first flight to Macedonia’s second international airport. There were a total of 133 passengers on board the inaugural service from London. The route will be maintained twice per week on a seasonal summer basis and is being subsidised by local authorities. Further flight details can be viewed here. In addition, Wizz will also launch services from Basel to Ohrid on July 1, with flights to run year-round.

I am sure these flights will be a success and new flights to Ohrid will be introduced pretty soon.

Wizz air should think about OHD - Moscow too.
