NEWS FLASH

Low cost carrier Ryanair will introduce flights from Stockholm Skavsta to Niš Constantine the Great Airport from October 31. Services will run twice per week, each Tuesday and Saturday. Tickets are already on sale through the airline's website. Ryanair currently maintains operations from Bergamo, Berlin, Bratislava and Weeze to the southeast Serbian city. “Ryanair is pleased to announce a new route from Nis to Stockholm Skavsta, with a twice weekly service starting in October, as part of our Niš winter 2017 schedule with 5 routes in total, which is now on sale", Ryanair's Dimitra Apatsidou said. She added, "Serbian customers and visitors can look forward to even lower fares when they make advance bookings for their summer or winter holidays, so there’s never been a better time to book low fare flights to or from Niš". Further flight details for the new Stockholm service can be found here.

Good to see Ryan and Wizz filling the gaps of JUs exodus on routes. JU will keep shrinking. Thankfully other airlines will fill the void

Let's see if Ryan really brings the game to Wizz and starts routes from BEG. They have a better product. Large carry on fee of GBP 16 + GBP 7.50 admin fee one-way are outrageous. So they shifted GBP 47.00 of standard fare components to fees in order to appear top in search results. I'm sure Ryan could command extra EUR 15 on flights from BEG, for the difference in passenger charges as compared to INI. I'm not sure what the BEG terms are for preferential rates, but with 3 planes, Ryan could hit 1 million passengers.
