NEWS FLASH

Air Serbia and Croatia Airlines have been awarded the highest seven star safety ranking from the world’s only airline safety and product ratings agency "Airline Ratings". The safety rating for each airline is based on a comprehensive analysis utilising information from the world’s aviation governing bodies and leading associations, along with government and historical data. Evaluation criteria are focused on elements such as IOSA certification, US FAA endorsement, condition and age of the fleet, accident history, International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) safety rating of the country of origin, and other parameters. A seven star safety rating is awarded to airlines that meet all the assessment criteria. In comparison, Adria Airways settled for a six star ranking and Montenegro Airlines for five stars.

Didn't the JU Sofia incident lowered the safety ranking?

Neither did the Croatia Airlines Zurich incident. You know Qantas almost lost an A380 a few years ago but they are constantly ranked the safest airline in the world. The criteria is clearly written so I suggest you read it.
