Eurowings to launch Ohrid flights

NEWS FLASH

Low cost carrier Eurowings will introduce seasonal summer flights from Stuttgart and Dusseldorf to Ohrid, which will be maintained twice and once per week respectively. Operations from Stuttgart will commence on June 21 and run each Monday and Friday until September 9. On the other hand, Eurowings will operate a total of seven flights between Dusseldorf and Ohrid over the summer, from July 17 until August 28, each Wednesday. The new services will mark Eurowings' entry onto the Macedonian market. Initially, the low cost airline planned to commence operations to Skopje in 2017, but the flights never materialised. As previously reported, Wizz Air will introduce four new routes to Ohrid this year, while Edelweiss Air will inaugurate services from Zurich.

Further details for the new Stuttgart - Ohrid service can be found here, while additional information for the Dusseldorf - Ohrid operations can be viewed here.

who knows. If they were aware of the gasto they would have launched it now. The limited timeframe tells me its rather catered rather for the "Ohrid Urlauber" . I mean DUS is gasto central but its also the 3rd largest airport in D with a huge leissure traffic

Surprise surprise, nobody execpted this. Let's see how the ticket mafia in N-Macedonia, specialy in Struag City, will react. With such a wide range of aircraft companies, they are hopefully overwhelmed. I hope that this will bring them to their pain limits and that they will disappear from the

It is indeed amusing to see all this SKP/OHD hate/jealousy coming from its neighbours. All these envious ill wishing forecasts for the future keep on coming for years now. Yet, SKP and OHD appears to do very well from year to year.

Not necessarily here on this article, but the comments on majority of articles on SKP/OHD is just unbelievable. I wonder why.
