Sarajevo Airport returns to growth

Sarajevo Airport has seen its passenger numbers grow in February as it handled 53.130 travellers during the month, representing an increase of 8.5% on last year. The number of aircraft movements grew 7.9% to 835. During the month, the airport saw special flights operated by Aeroflot, Belavia, Finnair, Albastar and TUI Airways, as the city played host to the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival. During the first two months of the year, Sarajevo welcomed 106.615 travellers through its doors, up 3.4% on 2018.
