Croatia Airlines touches down in Tianjin

NEWS FLASH

Croatia Airlines operated its longest flight on record this weekend, utilising its Airbus A320 aircraft on a special one-off service from Zagreb to Tianjin in China via Nursultan in Kazakhstan. The airline carried some 120 Chinese athlete students back to their homeland and picked up some seventy Croatian and European Union citizens from China. “This was quite a challenging operation, considering it was our longest flight on record and keeping in mind the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The two sets of crew had to undergo two Covid-19 tests and wear protective equipment such as masks and gloves throughout the flight”, Croatia Airlines’ Chief Pilot, Davori Mišić, said.
