During the 2021 summer season, Air Serbia plans to operate more than 800 charter flights to Turkey, Egypt, Greece and Tunisia, in cooperation with local tour operators. The carrier will commence its summer charter programme over the upcoming Orthodox Easter and May Day holidays, with services to Hurghada and Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt. Charters to Turkey will focus on the Antalya region, but there are plans to also serve Bodrum and Dalaman. In Greece, flights will operate to Rhodes, Crete, Skiathos, Corfu, Kefalonia, Zakynthos and other popular destinations. Last year, the airline ran a total of 299 round trip charters between July 5 and October. Air Serbia’s Head of Trade and Corporate Sales, Boško Rupić, said, “We are glad that we are able to organise charter flights to different destinations, in order to offer our passengers the option to safely and comfortably have their well-earned vacation this summer. Even though travel restrictions related to the coronavirus pandemic are still present, together with our partners we are trying to provide the best possible selection of destinations for our passengers. We are convinced that this season will be better than the previous one, because, unlike last year, we will have access to markets which are traditionally of interest to our tourists, such as Greece”.
It seems this year will be much better for Air Serbia than previous one.

Things are slowly going for the better
The near future is charter but why not also promote OUTBOUD charters?? Ski charter flights to INI and the south and not only concentrating on the capital. 2 million visitors can be increased to 5 at least.

DeleteFor Kopaonik it should be KVO airport. It is just two hour by car and up to two and a half by bus when snowing.

DeleteI was wondering why Air Serbia do not try regular year round service to Hurghada... obviously there is a demand which would eventually increase with transfer passengers over time... they have resources (available slots and planes), flight shouldn't last more than existing service which they already have on some other destinations (Moscow, London, previously Madrid...) and Air Cairo isn't some serious competitor on the market who also works mostly with tourist agencies... Or the issue is maybe high airport taxes in Egypt, some agreement between governments, higher profits from charters or something else?

Good. Wizz Air has flights to Malta starting from 31.05. Three times per week at 13.05 from BEG.
