NEWS FLASH
Montenegro’s national carrier will restore flights to Frankfurt and increase frequencies to Istanbul over the coming period. The airline will resume operations between Podgorica and Frankfurt from December 18 following a three-month hiatus. Services were suspended in mid-September after Germany placed Montenegro on its list of high-risk countries relating to the coronavirus pandemic, which made it more difficult for Montenegrin citizens and residents to enter. Flights between the two cities will run twice per week. In addition, due to strong demand, Air Montenegro will add an additional weekly service, for a total of three per week, between Tivat and Istanbul starting February 15.
Montenegro keeps winning!

DeleteHahahaha
DeleteInteresting about TIV and Istanbul. From where this demand is coming
ReplyDeleteQuite a few Turks have properties in Tivat's region, and many other Turks like to go gamble in the region, they come for just a weekend or few days, in small groups
DeleteMany Turks have bussines(mostly IT,yachting, construction, industrial design etc) in Tivat. Many Turks live in Tivat, full year.On the other hand,E95 is small for that route(cargo demands).Because of that,THY will start TIV from S22,4x times p/w,with 738/A32/1(relocating flts from TGD)
DeleteThere are no TK flights planned for TIV.
DeleteTraffic rights are 14pw per country, so yes if TK opens this route it will be with reduced frequencies on TGD. Would be smart for Air Montenegro to partner with TK like JU instead of going head to head
DeleteTurks have been coming to Mne coast for about 5 years now, mainly due to Erdogan politics. TIV-IST could have opened much sooner but TK was pushing TGD where they have the Embassy. The other passengers taking taxi to Budva-Tivat from TGD about 2h in summer. Of course they rather land in TIV.
DeleteThey should start with livery
