Tianjin Airlines plans one-off Belgrade service

China’s Tianjin Airlines plans to operate a one-off flight to Belgrade later this week, catering for Chinese construction workers. The airline is expected to depart Wuhan Airport on Saturday, May 14 and arrive in the afternoon hours on the same day in the Serbian capital. It will commence its return journey to Tianjin Binhai International Airport late Sunday afternoon. The carrier will utilise its 303-seat Airbus A330-300 aircraft on the route.

      Not surprising that many people criticise such Chinese investments. They employ very few local nationals in such projects. They provide the money and the money comes with so many strings attached - the prime one being that Chinese nationals need to be employed. There are over 2 million Chinese workers on various projects across Africa - just incredible
