I guess they profited the most from Lufthansa's collapse in Belgrade. Good for them, they are a good airline.

And I think they will profit greatly in the future. I saw that Microsoft took down their sign from the old offices so their transition to Usce 2 has begun. In the next 1.5 years they plan on having 2.500 employees in those 30.000 m2. I think demand to the US will boom.

Well, the staff will mostly be local.

Not necessarily as they are shifting positions from Denmark and Germany to Belgrade so those guys will be offered to move to Belgrade if they want to keep their jobs.
Also, I don't think there are enough IT guys to fill all those positions in Serbia. There is already a real shortage of workers in that field.

Will JU ever consider restoring Warsaw or is this route blocked from anyone but LOT ?

No way, they failed miserably the last time they operated this route. They even considered sending the ATR!
LO is king on this route and I am so happy they are doing well. Nice alterantive to the crappy Lufthansa Group!

Well king enough to overpower JU and its magnificent A319/733 that used to operate on this route.

That is why it doesn't make sense to go to an all A320 fleet when even A319 can't be filled up. Indeed they need an AC between ATR and A319.

Air Serbia A319 is the right size for BEG-WAW when Air Serbia starts TSN/PEK, ORD, YYZ and goes daily JFK with easy connections from WAW and pricing competitive with LOT.

Is it me or is the Serbian market showing quite promising signs? To me it seems like many are performing quite well.
