NEWS FLASH

Croatia Airlines is joining Deutsche Bahn’s (DB) Rail&Fly program which will enable its passengers to book a ticket to their final destination using both air and rail. With Rail&Fly, Croatia Airlines’ passengers will be able to travel by train to numerous DB stations. “We are preparing an Interline Electronic Ticket agreement with Deutsche Bahn with the aim of expanding our services and including rail transfer to select destinations within Germany, as well as to Brussels, Amsterdam and Zurich”, Croatia Airlines said.

"with the aim of expanding our services and including rail transfer"

but with what flights will you fill those trains?!
its such a random decision like wow. but we can see who's behind it - lufthansa group not OU necessarily

I mean it could be possible for Croatia airlines to take advantage of Slovenia’s lack of connection, I really can’t think of any other reason to do this shit. The issue is that you can’t access the Zagreb airport with rail, so how do they expect the rail transfers if you literally can’t tranfer???

OU was forced to discontinue DB Rail&Fly fares on 31DEC21. Pitty it took this long to renegotiate the interline, as many business travellers that used this option when their final destination was not FRA/MUC were forced to use limited LH Rail&Fly option in the meantime.
