Pristina Airport has continued its record run by registering its busiest April. It handled 295.404 passengers through its doors, up 13.1% on last year’s record and an improvement of 53.8% on the pre-pandemic 2019. Over the first four months of the year, the airport welcomed 945.262 travellers, representing an increase of 17.3% or an additional 139.172 passengers.

ReplyDelete1 million passengers for an airport like PRN is serious business. This leaves SKP quite behind now as the gap widens more and more.

DeleteUnlike PRN, SKP I recall has announced several new destinations recently, so it shouldn't be that far behind.

I'd say SKP will somewhat narrow the gap during the summer given the fresh subsidies.
Those fresh subsidies won't even come into effect until winter

I would personally like to see new destinations. Thess/Athens, or Napoli/Palermo, Lissabon/Porto...any of them happening would be awesome.

DeleteBut, what is A and B, as on the photo above? Are those separate gates, or two jetways serving a single aircraft? If former, why simply wouldn't they use different numbers?

ReplyDeleteWe used to follow PRN and SKP competition but currently the closest competitor to PRN are SPU and ZAG in particular for the No.2 spot among the ex yu airports.
