NEWS FLASH

Austrian Airlines flight crew will hold a union meeting tomorrow, Thursday April 4, from 09.00 CEST over a pay dispute, causing disruption to a number of the carrier’s flights including those bound to destinations in the former Yugoslavia. Austrian Airlines was scheduled to operate a total of twelve flights from Vienna to cities in the former Yugoslavia tomorrow, including three to Belgrade, two each to Sarajevo, Skopje, and Zagreb, as well as one rotation to Podgorica, Pristina, and Split. The airline has cancelled a total of five flights, including one each to Belgrade (OS736), Sarajevo (OS758), Skopje (OS776), Split (OS746), and Zagreb (OS746). “To minimise inconvenience for our passengers, we are doing everything possible. We apologise to our guests for the inconvenience”, Austrian Airlines said. It comes less than a week after crew staged their first round of industrial action over two days.

The employees are at least fighting hard for their rights, which is good. Could you imagine same scenario in the Balkans? Absolutely no!

A LIVING WAGE? OS/LH cabin crew have decent pay and are lazy as hell. They are greedy and just want more while working less.

Good old Lufthansa. The important thing is that the employees have created a tradition of striking, for delaying wages, low pay for responsible and much more expensive work, I will emphasize their slave mentality in their technical service unit, which is located everywhere except in Germany, places with more low wages like Hungary, Philippines, Malta because of negligible taxes. A big group, but when one is created in the east, it immediately threatens the competition, it's a laundry, it's a monopoly, they're thieves and a gang of crooks. I will give an example with Olympic/Aegean merger, OU in covid times, Aerosvit and Ukraine International Airlines/Windrose/ Dniproavia group, fake bankrupt of Malev by Wizz management.

OS is simply a joke. This is coming from a "developed" country. Expensive, rude, boring livery. Just use Ryanair and get a much better and cheaper experience.

Some spit on it, but it's a fact. Ryanair is the strongest airline in Europe, I can't understand why people are spitting on them. Maybe the envy of some, because FR are good entrepreneurs with goals in their business, unlike some countries like us that rely on subsidies, where the only candidate is Wizz. @SKP.

I would punish all the employees striking. Their wages are very good and they are greedy and just want more while behaving horribly towards passengers & not offering a good service. They don't deserve this job, let alone a bigger pay
