I posted this before, so here:

"Zagreb had slow recovery, 3.1 million in 2022 and 3.7 million in 2023, Very likely based on current capacity o seat available for entire 2024 , Zagreb will have more than 4.0 million passengers, could be as much as 4.2 passengers.

5.673.315 seats will be offered according to this blog, https://www.exyuaviation.com/2024/01/zagreb-targets-over-four-million.html.
In 2022 Zagreb had 4.71 million seats available but handled 3.72 million or 78% of the total market potential. Using same methodology, in 2024 of 5.7 million available seats airport could handle as much as 4.5 million passengers in 2024. However that being said, I'd prefer to stick to more conservative estimate of 4,0 to 4.2 million passengers, or around 73% of the actual seats available.

Data used based on this blog's data:

    "

In short Zagreb will have more than 4.0 million could be as high as 4.5 million but 4.2 million seems quite likely. 4.5 million is long stretch and very small chance of that, if all stars align and load factor on all carriers is better than last year. As is stands traffic between 4.0 and 4.2 million most likely, with potential of 4.25 million. Anything over 4.25 million would be a massive bonus and impressive growth. in 2025 Things will be very interesting.

To add, 300 000 was plausible, although 310 000 would have been much nicer cause of Easter break was in March, but as it was at the end of the month, both March and April might benefit. 350 000 passengers in April very probable, anything over 360 000 would be above expectations.

Schengen has next to nothing to do with this, it's the Ryanair effect.

Croatia without borders with Italy, Spain, France etc. when flying as well has a big effect. At least I am very happy we don't have borders with such a beautiful countries. It is pschological thing. Nice to know you don't have border control, you are not in roaming, you have same currency etc.
