NEWS FLASH

Croatia Airlines and Lufthansa’s latest leisure subsidiary Discover Airlines (formerly branded as Eurowings Discover) have inked a codeshare agreement, which will come into effect in June. In a statement, Discover Airlines said, “Our two airlines have just signed a codeshare agreement to multiply the choice of travel options for our passengers. The agreement now enables end-to-end booking processes, seamless connections and choosing from an even wider range of destinations and departure times for passengers of both airlines”. As part of the deal, Croatia Airlines will place its "OU" designator code and flights numbers onto Discover Airlines' flights from Frankfurt to Dubrovnik, Split, and Zadar. The latter two routes were taken over from Lufthansa's mainline operations this year.

Conclusion implies ending of something that has been already happening. Therefore, the title alone implies that they have wrapped up codesharing and are moving on their own ways. In fact, they have concluded negotiations and are starting codesharing partnership.
