Sarajevo Airport registers busiest April on record

NEWS FLASH


The first month of the 2024 summer season began on a strong note for Sarajevo Airport as it welcomed 133.822 passengers through its terminal, representing an increase of a notable 49.4% on the same month last year, as well as an improvement of 41.3% on its previous best April in 2022. During the January - April period, the airport handled 369.314 passengers, up 30.1% on the same period last year. During April, Sarajevo Airport saw the introduction of five new routes by Ryanair, as well as the addition of a new Izmir service by SunExpress.

      Ah, always the same story when it comes to Sarajevo... You know, nobody wants to go there, this is lost case before even starting... You know Georgia has 10M annually. You think it has more to offer than Bosnia? No, it does not.

      It does not but it has a really good digital nomad program and almost anyone can stay there for a year at a time. There were attempts to introduce something like that in B&H with some pilot projects in Herzegovina but it's still status quo.

    How you can even compare Sarajevo with Georgia,even with Georgia's 10 M visitors,Georgia CAN NOTbeat Sarajevo simply because of Sarajevo's charm and hospitality like no city in the world.Sarajevo is simply the best even with its tiny airport.If you do not like Sarajevo,feel free to stay in Georgia with its 10M.
