NEWS FLASH

The Croatian-registered FlyAir 41 Airways, the sister company of Germany’s Sundair, is wet-leasing its Airbus A319 aircraft (registered 9A-ZAG) to Cyprus Airways with the jet entering operations on behalf of the Cypriot national carrier ten days ago. The deal, brokered by Zela Aviation, will aid Cyprus Airways, which has been forced to ground one of its two Airbus A220-300 aircraft over engine issues. The delivery of additional A220s has been delayed, while the airline has also cancelled plans to acquire six jets of the same type amid the engine headaches. Cyprus Airways was recently forced to cancel and reschedule a number of flights due to the ongoing fleet shortage. Founded in Zagreb in 2021, the ACMI specialist FlyAir 41 has a fleet of four A319s and two A320s. 9A-ZAG operated on behalf of Croatia Airlines prior to moving on to Cyprus Airways. Currently, three of FlyAir 41’s A319s are utilised by Sundair, while two A320s are operating on behalf of Condor.

bravo for what? That the ACMI airline has leased out one of its jets? When a plane touches down in Zagreb do you also say 'bravo Hrvatska'? :D

As I said in previous posts the A220 is a dead end ...... not because of the aircraft itself but because of the business deal between airbus and bombardier ......
