Zagreb’s largest airlines by scheduled seat capacity, 2025

Bravo Hrvatska!
ReplyDeleteIt would be interesting to see a breakdown in terms of subsidy/non-subsidy.
DeleteZagreb Airport doesn't give any subsidies.
DeleteVery impressive increase.
ReplyDeleteGood performance, this year the 5 million passenger mark is easily achievable I believe.
ReplyDeleteWouldn’t say so… So far, no new destinations for whole summer
DeleteSo far OU has scheduled a very large capacity increase for summer.
DeleteOther airlines too.
That's how you increase passenger numbers.
Stop with the OU capacity increase. OU can triple its capacity and fly A380s, it would still not see passenger growth because they charge 250 euros for a 30-minute flight to Sarajevo.
DeleteYou don't need new destinations to see growth. Ryanair is adding frequencies with aircraft from other bases. Also, Ryanair replacing two-weekly Pisa flights with extra Dublin flights will add a few thousand passengers because Dublin flights are 98% full whereas Pisa was something like 70% full.
DeleteRyanair is also cancelling some routes, so 5 mil will be difficult to achieve. Pisa is not the only one that has been cancelled.

DeleteI hope your day gets better without any good news about ZAG's growth upsetting you. ❤️
5 million pax is a given for this year!

DeleteUnfortunately, no good news for ZAG. Not even one new destination by OU or FR, but actually 3 destinations less. And the end of FR subsidies by the end of the year. Doesn’t sound good at all
Actually it sounds pretty good. Routes that people don't fly on are going, and routes that people want to fly on like Palma or Palermo are going up in frequencies.
Delete5 million will be reached easily, it's just 280k additional passengers.
DeleteZAG will most likely surpass 5 million this year.
Quite impressive and congrats to ZAG!
ReplyDeleteGreat numbers for sure. I notice that QR has issues in ZAG too just like they have in most European destinations. Is it just their narrowbody fleet issues or is it something else?
ReplyDeleteNarrow body fleet issues which are made worse by them trying to launch as many Saudi routes as possible (with A320s) because they fear that in a few years they will be unable to get slots to any of these places.
DeleteLH growth is almost as high as TK. How was LH able to grow that much in ZAG?
ReplyDeleteDemand for tourism to Croatia is on fire.
DeleteYet both Austrian and Eurowings are down 17-18%. Must be something else.
DeleteLufthansa added an overnight flight to Munich and added bigger aircraft on the Frankfurt routes. It was operated by Airbuses all summer.
DeleteAnother site published this with the heading "Prvi objavljujemo" even though they published it more than an hohr after this site 😂
ReplyDeleteHe does that all the time. 80% of articles are copied from here word for word. I also saw him put many times "Eksluzivno" for articles published here weeks earlier.
Deletewell, we all know he is crazy guy, no one taking him serious so not worth even talking about him

He isn't imitating, he's just a bit clueless.
