NEWS FLASH
Air Serbia is readying to take delivery of tis fifth Airbus A320 aircraft, with the leased jet recently undergoing painting. With a temporary registration of 9H-ANQ, it is expected to be re-registered YU-APU once in Serbia. It is set to enter into commercial service in June. Another frame is also expected to be taken up this summer. The Serbian carrier has already taken delivery of one A320 and one Embraer E195 aircraft so far this year.

Looks great, anz idea about the location of the photos? The hangar looks cool!
ReplyDeleteI think it's Bergen op Zoom (Woensdrecht Air Base). not 100% though.
DeleteThen it may be former SX-DVK, 18 years old
DeleteAnd other one may be former SX-DVG, one year older
DeleteNo it's not
DeleteYes, it is
DeleteI read on Airliners.net that the registration that is coming to JU is SX-NEO
DeleteSX-NEO is the registration of the first a320neo Aegean received from Airbus in 2020. I doubt that they would return such a young frame or that JU would lease it.

Maybe because they had engine issues and they seem to focus on A321neo
DeleteAnon 18:05 stop making up things . Aegean will never sell or give back to lessor a320neo . Yes they have issues with 11 a320 neos but until 2028 they will all fly normally.
DeleteAre these previous Aegean planes?
ReplyDeleteAdmin,
ReplyDeleteWhat was the previous registration of this airplane?
It tells you if you read all the way through.
Delete@15:37 it clearly does not. It only shows the temporary registration it has now and the registration it will have when it joins JU fleet. @15:13 meant what was the registration before the current temporary registration
DeleteCan't find any info on google about current temp registration. How old is the bird?
DeleteBecause this was not the A3 plane, there were some problems with paperwork.
DeleteOk then say which one it is since you know.
DeleteNo I won‘t, google it ;)
DeleteYou will find out soon and then you will see who was right
DeleteBravo Air Serbia 🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸
ReplyDeleteIdemo dalje...
ReplyDeleteHow old is this aircraft?
ReplyDeleteA320 had its first flight on 22 February 1987, so it can't be older than 1987, but I am sure some people will try to convince us that A320 is older than 1987!
DeleteIt wont' be as old as N674UA, 26 years old United Airlines B763 that will in a couple of hours depart EWR for SPU inaugural service. Without a doubt that 767 will be older than Air Serbia A320 YU-APU, but no complaints. Oh yeah, wait for self-proclaimed experts to drone on about UA upgraded interiors on that bird. Yeah, we know more about it than you can imagine.
DeleteI think we found it!

It was used primarily by Air Malt with seasonal leasing to a Chilean airline.
In the last few years it flew for Thomas Cook and Condor.
It is 22.5 years old.
That is 9H-ANJ. This aircraft is 9H-ANQ.
DeleteAnon @ 17:44 Wrong plane, with wrong engines
