Mostar Airport has held talks with US representatives over potential American involvement in the airport’s future development, with discussions focusing on investment opportunities, infrastructure upgrades and strengthening the airport’s long-term growth prospects. Separately, the Donald Trump-linked company AAFS Infrastructure Energy has reportedly expressed interest in a broader concession or management role at the airport, which could include capital investment and support for its commercial development. The same company is reportedly eyeing both Sarajevo and Mostar airports as part of a concession package.
The discussions come as Mostar Airport seeks to build on recent growth and reduce its reliance on subsidies. With terminal upgrades, runway improvements and other infrastructure projects under consideration, the airport wants to attract strategic partners.
