NEWS FLASH
Belgrade-based MRO provider Avio Network has completed its acquisition of a 99.38% stake in Jat Tehnika, concluding a transaction first announced in December last year after receiving regulatory approval from Serbia’s competition watchdog. Avio Network founder Aleš Luci described the acquisition as a strategic investment aimed at building a leading regional maintenance platform, with Jat Tehnika’s existing certifications, infrastructure and customer base forming the foundation for future growth.
Jat Tehnika, headquartered at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, has been under Czech-owned Avia Prime since its privatisation in 2019. Under the new ownership, investments are expected in facility modernisation, digitalisation and operational efficiency, while the company is set to continue serving its existing airline customers without disruption.
