Awesome. Thats pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteWonder how many flights BEG had that day?
ReplyDeleteA lot
Delete360-390 flights for lybe
DeleteAs per FR24, BEG had total of 337 operations on July 3rd - 167 takeoffs, and 170 landings. Yesterday it had 336 movements.
DeleteLast Friday 158 landings of commercial flights. Absolute record, but I expect new one every next Friday in July
DeleteSo roughly averaging 8-9 flights every hour. That is very noteworthy for a small airline.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Air Serbia is a small airline
DeleteWell isn't it like the 45th in Europe? That's not a ranking of a non-small airline.
DeleteDefine 'small'. What are airlines operating 2 or 3 aicraft then, and how do they come in the same cathegory with Air Serbia?
DeleteAir Serbia have more tnan 40 planes. That’s already medium airline
DeleteAir Serbia is 34th airline in the Europe - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_largest_airlines_in_Europe
DeleteIf it merged with OU it could be a medium airline.
DeleteSize queens enter the chat...
DeleteAir Serbia is definitively in the bracket of medium airline both in aircraft and in terms of destinations punches above its weight. I would regard 'large' to be an airline with over 100 aircraft so we'd be talking the size of ITA and TAP and above. Medium covers quite a wide range of companies from Icelandair and Virgin Atlantic through to Air Europa and Finnair.
DeleteAgain all labels such as this are often totally silly.
Great to see Belgrade airport so busy and lively. Nice to See Air Serbia doing so well, its a welcome presence.
It is interesting that yesterday morning there were 31 departing flights between 06.00 and 07.00am in Belgrade or one plane departed in less than 2 minutes.
ReplyDeleteSo fair to say by this time next year beg could have this many rotations in june as well, maybe may too?
DeleteThis is amazing. It is very noticeable how much standards have increased in Serbia in the last 5 years. People seem to be flying way more then ever before.
DeleteWell we would hope so lol. Its a long old transition, and lots more to do.
DeleteBravo Air Serbia 🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸
