If August delivers similar results (approximately 90k additional passengers), 4M might not be far fetched as well.
If the current growth remains (+28,7%), more than 4.1M passengers would have passed through SKP by the end of the year.
I don't have the scheduled capacity for the winter season, but for sure the cancellations of Easyjet, Lufthansa and others are not helping for this.

OU is doing much better despite ZAG being smaller than BEG

Air Serbia has more passengers from Skopje than Croatia Airlines. You must read carefully. The table shows CAPACITY, not passenger numbers.

He is actually not correct because Air Serbia carries more passengers with less capacity. There were articles here where you can see how much each of those two airlines carried on this route.

Big deal if they have more pax than OU (who doesnt have more pax than them) , the feeling is they should have more pax from SKP generally and this is what Viktor was probably trying to say.

It would be very difficult to match this degree of growth on a constant basis, the overall market is very small we must not forget. But yes its doing so very well.

If you see from January the airport keep growing even in the slowest winter months which is not case in other smaller markets in Ex-yu , so you are not right about this. And even after summer airport will see have good numbers and growth better than before, so basically it becomes constant grow. This market was small before couple years but not now , now it is completely different picture.

You do realise that growth at current levels is totally impossible going forward: That is roughly what it would look like if it grew at the current rate

2026 (Projected baseline): ~4.12 million passengers
      2027: ~5.30 million passengers
      2028: ~6.82 million passengers
      2029: ~8.78 million passengers
      2030: ~ 11.30 million passengers

So while growth indeed will be strong, amongst the strongest perhaps in the region. It will not be at this level. We can consider this the great leap forward year and its great.

@19:16 'How they can serve even smaller airports than SKP' nothing to do with the size of the airport, but the amount of money they can make from flying to an airport given fleet and airport restrictions. While it is a lovely city, its not a city from which some airlines can make much money, or rather they can make more elsewhere.

This shows there was a lot of unsatisfied demand. It will level off soon, but the result is nice, especially considering the relative proximity of four strong airports. Fits in with the economic growth numbers for the year of the country.

Tourist numbers in Macedonia this year are very high and growing every month which is very important for the economic of the country, and of course that positive results bring high numbers of people using air travel. Dont forget the airport never been better connected with direct flights such as gasto and leisure

Looks like the airport is running above max capacity & in the busy season is overcroweded, 4 mil pax a year equals 333.333 pax a month, having 408k a month is above max capacity. Goverment & TAV should start thinking about bigger terminal, bigger parking, more gates

Yes that is very true. Also TAV announced a while ago that by 2031 they have a plan to expand the terminal capacity but without much informantiom shared. They also said they preparing long term plans for SKP airport and get new consession of 20+ years after 2030
