LIVERY OF THE WEEK: Austrian Airlines

Austrian Airlines has unveiled a refreshed livery, with the focus being on a slight adaptation of the logo. New features include changes to the tail section, which will be optically enlarged by expanding the red area, all the way from the empennage downwards across the fuselage. The logo will be more prominent. The wordmark “Austrian” in the front of the fuselage is also displayed over a larger surface area and will become, according to the airline, more readable and recognisable from a distance. The typical Austrian salutation “Servus” will remain on the aircraft belly. It will take Austrian at least seven years to repaint its entire fleet. On the occasion of its first newly painted aircraft, the airline also added sixtieth anniversary stickers.

Definitely much better than the previous one. "My Austrian" was a disaster. Great airline!

Completely agree. MyAustrian was horrible. I still love their 90s livery the most.
