The numbers look solid and with the upcoming new flights and frequency boost, SKP is on the verge to reach 2 mil pax, if not this year, next year for sure. That is astonishing success for this airport.
All that is happening without many major carriers such as Lufthansa, Aegean, Aeroflot, Alitalia as realistic targets for upcoming routes. Yes I know Alitalia pulled out from SKP. KLM / Air France is long reach. But the other ones should definitely consider SKP.
Also, if one more low cost carrier jumps in, at least with 40% what Wizz has, SKP will go over 2.4 mil pax for sure.

Alitalia is in a very bad shape. They wont be starting new destinations, they are reducing costs everywhere.

      Aegean is hardly a @major player@

Aegean is the second biggest player in the region after TK.
It would be a great addition for SKP.

    4. Politics (on the Greek side) is what keeps the Greek carriers out of the market. Olympic Air is better suited to serve SKG-SKP with an ATR, which is the perfect aircraft for the route.
