This is very good. I expected growth to be at the same level as in the previous two months but it was better.
ReplyDeleteAugust was particularly strong as we had the Iranian widebodies, more charters than last year and easyJet with a lot of extra frequencies. I suppose we will see a very strong September as well.
DeleteSva je prilika da ce biti ispod 5.8 miliona samo se i dalje prepricava bajka direktora.

DeleteBravo Beograd!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it correct to write "Bravo Beograde," in standard Serbian and "Bravo Hrvatsko" in standard Croatian?
DeleteIt depends what the author wanted to say... if he/she wanted to say "bravo za Beograd" and abbreviated it is to "bravo beograd", i'd say that's a fair use case. Or you can use vocativ and say "bravo, Beograde" (don't forget a comma). The latter is probably the only proper form for formal written Serbian... however, this is a blog.
DeleteAs far as Hrvatska, I'm actually not sure you'd conjugate it... my gut tells me in standard Serbian, you'd say "bravo, Hrvatsko", but in Croatian it may be different, i.e., "bravo, Hrvatska". Just like some people would say "bravo, Luko" and some would say "bravo, Luka" (and only the former is correct in Serbian, but in Croatian, both may be acceptable, I'm not 100% sure).
but those are nits, my friend. I wouldn't worry about those, as long as you understand what the author wanted to say. and enjoy the blog:)
Cheers from a North American:)
I think in September we can reach 4.4 or 4.5 million.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to BEG! Nice growth!
ReplyDeleteEcxellent results, I believe Belgrade will for sure reach 6 milion this year.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely no way.
Delete5,8 million is a realistic goal.
sweet!!

ReplyDeleteBEG continues to lead the Balkan airports in growth, new airlines and new routes.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for a fantastic 2019 and all the surprises that will bring to us!

DeleteAnd the concession hasn't even started.....................;) ;) ;) ;) ;)
Sexy times ahead...
Go BEG!
ReplyDeleteSeptember for Belgrade Airport won't be so successive as July and August. Mahan Air and Qeshm Air have stopped flying, Etihad Airways returns to one daily flight, Air Serbia is gonna drop Malta and goes overall deeply in minus...
ReplyDeleteQeshm Air has not stopped flying.
DeleteTo the contrary, they have, starting from today.
DeleteLH cancelled its evening flight to Belgrade last Saturday. Does that mean the route is supended? No.
DeleteRegarding LH you are right, but Qeshm Air certainly won't fly to Belgrade anymore this summer season.
DeleteWhat else does the crystal ball say?
DeleteWhich evening flight are you referring to guys?
DeleteQeshm Air have officially cancelled flights, that's all.
DeleteWhere is the official statement?
DeleteMahan's and Qeshm's cancellations are sort of political issue rather than commercial, something to do with US sanctions against Iran. And it's a pity because all these flights from Tehran were full to the last seat, Belgrade was conquered by Iranians.
DeleteI love when our neighbours come here all worried and caring. Sorry but Qeshm news is...fake news, wishful thinking.

DeleteThe numbers would be even higher if TK was allowed for 330 or add the 3rd flight.
ReplyDeleteThis will never happen
