Air Serbia and AtlasGlobal expand partnership

NEWS FLASH

Air Serbia has expanded its codeshare partnership with Turkey’s Atlasglobal. The Serbian carrier has added its flight numbers and "JU" designator code onto the Turkish airline's flights between Istanbul and Aktau in Kazakhstan, as well as the Georgian capital of Tbilisi. Over the past year, Serbia has abolished visa requirements for both Kazakh and Georgian nationals, which has been reciprocated. The expansion to the existing codeshare arrangement between the two airlines is the second this year. Earlier in 2019, Atlasglobal began codesharing on Air Serbia’s flights from Belgrade to Berlin, Kiev, Sofia and Zurich.

no. currently, JU and TK have only SPA. we might have code-share in the future, depends on the intergovernmental deal

No, it just means that KK cooperation will stay regardless of TK deal. The Serbia-Turkey market is massive so there is room for everyone.

If JU+KK code share would survive JU+TK code share it would be amazing, but I am not sure TK would agree with it

It's such a missed opportunity. I am sure Pegasus would have daily flights, TK triple and who knows about KK.

  3. But KK isn't in a good shape in terms of finances! It could go bust anytime soon.
