NEWS FLASH

Wizz Air has confirmed it is discontinuing operations from Hanover to both Skopje and Belgrade. Flights from the German city to the Macedonian and Serbian capitals were affected throughout the coronavirus pandemic. As a result, there will no longer be nonstop services between Hanover and Skopje, while Air Serbia will commence a three weekly operation between its hub and the German city on June 3, reducing to two during the winter months.

Everything points to them wanting to put pressure on the NMK Gov to continue providing and increase subsidies. I hope I'm wrong.

Wizz is getting very annoying. If the passengers would see the amount of routes being cancelled hardly anyone would by a ticket.

I guess this has little to do with Belgrade and Skopje and a lot with Hanover, since the reduced their presence there greatly.
