Sarajevo Airport handled 213.178 passengers in June, representing a decrease of 7.6% on the same month in 2025. The figure is in line with an expected decline in overall scheduled seat capacity, which will continue into July.

Numerous airlines reduced flights and capacity in June compared to the same month last year. These included SAS Scandinavian Airlines, Qatar Airways and Flyadeal, which did not operate any services during the month, as well as Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, which has ceased operations. Other carriers that recorded fewer flights and seats included Jazeera Airways, Flydubai, Kuwait Airways, Flynas, Eurowings, Croatia Airlines, AJet, Pegasus Airlines and Turkish Airlines. Softer demand and flight restrictions in the Middle East continue to have a significant impact on the airport's performance.

During the first half of the year, Sarajevo Airport welcomed 960.622 travellers through its doors, representing an increase of 1.4% or an additional 12.878 passengers.
