Trending in May


We are halfway through the year, with June marking nine years since EX-YU Aviation News went online. May was another busy month, during which we witnessed Croatia Airlines' expansion, the unveiling of Air Serbia's new product, Sarajevo Airport's expansion plans, as well as preparations for flights between China and Serbia, which drew the most attention from readers. As usual, job opportunities in the region were also popular.

A total of 4.152 comments were made on articles published during the month, while visitor numbers increased 26%, making it the busiest May on record for the site. During the month, the majority of visitors accessed EX-YU Aviation from Serbia, followed by Croatia, Slovenia, Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Switzerland and Macedonia.

  2. Administratoru i Timu srecnu devetu godisnjicu uspesenog prezentovanja dogadjaja u oblasti Balkanskog poluostrva.
    Lepo bi bilo, iskreno se nadam da ce te osmisliti neki profesionalniji naziv vaseg portala od dosadasnjeg "exyuaviation"...
    Predlazem Vam da pozovete ucesnike ovog bloga da izraze sugestiju eventualno novog naziva. Mozda bi bilo zanimljivo to videti. Pa i sam bi mozda poslao predlog o novom nazivu.       Hvala na vasoj opaski u vezi mesta rodjena... ljudi se radjaju i umiru onde gde se to dogodi. Kao sto su ljudi promenili ime drzave Srbije u tri imena prvih desetak godina posle prvog rata. Posle drzavi nisu vratili ime Srbija, vec joj dali jedno ime sa pocetkom YU...
      Pa ond DFRJ, FNRJ, SFRJ, SRJ, SCG, i na kraju prije tacno polovinom ovog meseca 11 godina od kako je Srbija ostala sama.
      Srbija bila, Srbija ostala i Srbija ce ostatidok Srba i ostalih narodnosti zivi u njoj. Mene drzava ne smeta. Pogotovo ova prosla o kojoj govorimo. Ona je na sigurnom mestu. U istoriji, u muzejima i glavama ljudi. Koji su u njoj stradali i onih koji su u njoj prosperirali. Mozda je izmedju vas i mene razlika u tome sto neko zivi za proslost. Drugi opet zive za sadasnjost i zele bolju buducnost. Onoliko koliko rade i koliko su sposobni. Ostalo je secanje na lepo ili ruzno. Iskreno vama zelim, kao i svakom coveku dobru buducnost i svako dobro.
      A ako necete da menjate nazive... pa neka ostanu. Sve se menja sem kamenja. I ono se vremenom pretvara u prah.Vreme gradi, vreme razgradjuje.

    As comments section of recent news about EK starting ZAG and HU plans for BEG showed, significant proportion of comments are irrelevant as they are not fact based and instead fueled by jealousy and hate, lowering overall visitor experience.

    I would rather enjoy reduced number of comments but with better quality, insight and knowledge as a result of selective moderation. Quality over quantity please!
