Lufthansa and Croatia should be counted together :)

Delete1330, why? OU has three times more than LH group?
DeleteHey Admin, when will PRN results be published?
ReplyDeleteGreat news for ZAG but the airport should be worried about OU's bad peformance. They need to make sure their role becomes even less. Their marketshare should be brought down to 15%-20% range. Like that they won't be severely impacted when they eventually go bankrupt.
ReplyDeleteFlew OU to AMS yesterday and only 3 seats left
DeleteIf FR had 85% LF, others 80% that means OU had 60%
DeleteI think OU LF at around 60% is in line with what they had until now. We read the other day about their deteriorating finances so makes you wonder how much longer they can last. Sure the government can give them another cash injection but they won't give them enough to keep them alive for another 10 years.
DeleteBut I don't get which routes are failing, I've flown Frankfurt, Munich, Amsterdam, Stockholm and Copenhagen and they are almost always full
DeleteAverage LF for the whole 2024 was around 60%.
DeleteI don't get it either. I arrived from Barcelona yesterday on the A220 and the plane was almost full. Soon I'm flying back to Copenhagen and that flight is always full.
DeleteSomething "weird" is going on with OU and it can only be corruption.
Guessing it's mostly Spaniards, how do you know the CPH flight is full
DeleteCph flight had 65% LF last year
DeleteThey have a lot of domestic routes plus there is also SJJ, SKP etc
DeleteBravo Hrvatska!
ReplyDeleteImagine how big Bravo Hrvatska could it be if Croatia Airlines made ZAG real hub, took advantage of its geoposition, tourism and diaspora and became real airline with much more than 13 percent of market share, instead of miserable tiny irrelevant humiliated feeder
DeleteThat ship has long sailed and ZAG will never be a real hub especially not now when they are between VIE/OS and BEG/JU.
DeleteNever say never 16.20. Clever people said that loooong time ago. But I understand, writing such comment, you can't be such clever
DeleteAnd who would do it? Ryanair can't, OU doesn't have the money or the brains... so who is left? A new Croatian company or someone else coming and doing it.
DeleteSo spare me your cheap reverse psychology and give me some real ideas and evidence of who could realistically do it. Come on, I'm waiting.
^ You're right. Croatia Airlines could do wonders if it were in private hands, but it's too late for that. Nobody wants to buy it in this state, and the government doesn't seem to want to sell it either.
DeleteIt clearly serves its purpose the way it is. At this point, I only wish for justice to be served some day when USKOK hopefully gets involved.
Admin do you know when Q1 results for routes will be published?
ReplyDeleteEven if OU went bust dear Jasmin would get another well paid government job.
