Sarajevo Airport reached a milestone yesterday by handling two million passengers within a single calendar year for the first time. The two-millionth traveller was headed to Istanbul on a Turkish Airlines flight and was rewarded with a return business class ticket and a voucher for the airport’s Premium Lounge. “Reaching two million passengers is a major milestone and a clear sign of Sarajevo Airport’s growth. We would especially like to thank Turkish Airlines for their long-term partnership and contribution to this success”, Sarajevo Airport’s acting CEO, Sanin Ramezić, said. Sarajevo Airport has surpassed its 2024 end-of-year result, which stood at 1.821.762 passengers.

Its crazy that almost the same number of pax travelled to Europe with FR and to Turkey just on Pegasus.

ReplyDeleteWhy did they give up on the Premium lounge so quickly? It had different food and drinks to the one downstairs but now it’s awful?
