Chinese carrier to run Belgrade flights

NEWS FLASH

A Chinese airline will operate future services between Beijing and Belgrade, while operations from Shaghai are also being considered. Clarifying statements made over the weekend, the Serbian Prime Minister, Aleksandar Vučić, noted that services will not be maintained by the national carrier Air Serbia. "I asked our Chinese partners to first launch flights to Belgrade before Zagreb since that route has already been negotiated and I must say they were very understanding as we are China's main partner in this region so flights will first be launched to Serbia. It will be operated by a Chinese company, not ours. I also believe we will have flights to Shaghai", Mr Vučić said on Monday. Earlier this year, Beijing Capital Airlines announced it would introduce a two weekly seasonal summer service to Zagreb next June. Over the weekend, the Serbian government adopted a draft agreement on a mutual visa-free regime with China. As a result, Serbia will become only the second European country after San Marino to allow visa free travel for Chinese nationals. China has labelled the move as a "historic development". "Once the agreement is put into force, more Chinese tourists and investors will come to Serbia and more Serbian people will be able to travel to China", the Chinese Ambassador to Serbia, Li Manchang, said at a press conference.

Steta sto se ne trudi malo da zdravstvo i privredu podigne kada se vec poredi sa Hrvatskom. To bi bila istinska korist. Motivacija je stvarno zalosna.

Oh please.

Why is to sooo important for him to get the flights first? To brag about that in front of his voters? So strange a mentality.

I know. But this is not the point here. PM's obsession is the point here. With that statement of his, he appeares to be a kid. I mean, you are free to think that you want to be the first, but be quite about that, because your motivation is the dumbest thing on Earth.

I didn't say anything positive about the PM I was saying that the majority of people here were not saying that Air Serbia would operate this route as you indicated.

Obsessed or not, I don't care. As long as Belgrade gets linked to Beijing directly. Don't be such sour grapes, dear neighbours.
