Air Serbia has scaled back an aspect of its buy on board catering product by offering a complimentary small bottle of water to all passengers, regardless of their fare type. The carrier has been criticised across social media platforms for charging travellers for water. The Serbian airline rolled out its buy on board catering service in March, entitled Elevate Deli & Bar, in line with its new hybrid business model. It allows passengers to purchase food and drinks on board flights lasting up to three hours. The measures were rolled out in a bid to boost revenue. Air Serbia posted a record sixteen million euro profit in 2017. Adria Airways, which was the first airline in the former Yugoslavia to begin charging for on board meals and beverages in 2014, introduced complimentary water for all travellers in 2016 following pressure from customers.

Great news. I actually think this is now ideal, free water, but if you want to eat or drink coke or wine, you need to pay.

Air Serbia is not a low cost in terms of their high fares! There sould be at least complimantary water/juice/a cup of Cola + a little bar of chocolate..It is a scheme what are they doing...

Low cost and high fares are not related. Wizz has very high fares to London during summer but they are low cost airline.

Što jeste, jeste, skupi su. Oko 300 evra za Luton sada, bez kofera i vode je preskupo.
