NEWS FLASH

Sarajevo Airport has today opened a new Premium Lounge, which will be available to all passengers for a fee. Stretching over almost 400 square metres, the new lounge has the capacity to seat 85 guests and includes amenities such as a buffet with hot and cold snacks and meals, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, showers, a prayer room and a balcony overlooking the apron and runway. Smoking will be allowed on the open-air balcony. The facility also boasts a private studio apartment with its own bathroom, which will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis for a fee, as well as a conference room. The new Premium Lounge is located on the second floor of the terminal building. During the first three months, entry will be available at a promotional walk-in price amounting to around thirty euros. Regular prices will amount to around fifty euros for lounge usage, 255 euros for studio apartment usage and around 205 euros for the use of the conference hall.

Sarajevo Airport also boasts a business class lounge, with complimentary access for business class passengers, top tier frequent flyer holders, as well as LoungeKey, Priority Pass, Diners Club, Dragon Pass, TAV, and Master Card Gold holders. Others can enter for a 25 euro fee. The lounge, located on the first floor of the terminal, was recently overhauled.

They have to recover the losses somehow that Ryanair will cause them.

Hopefully it will be complementary for business class travellers or certain frequent flyer program ranks

But I'm more interested in the studio apartment. There're no photos of it in the post

@anonymous! What losses are you referring to?

30€ is quite standard for a contract lounge.

@anon 11:52 whether business & Gold passengers get access to contract lounges depends on individual airlines, there is no blanket rule. For example, Lufthansa and Air France typically engage with contract lounges, while KLM and SAS typically don't.

SJJ has 2 lounges? That is pretty cool for an airport of this size
Promo price is quite attractive, but 50 eur is not worth it imo. I would then switch to the business lounge.

Haha, you obviously haven’t been in BEG’s lounge. Air Serbia’s lounge is very nice but small and overcrowded.

I have been to both BEG lounges and they were not overcrowded. You obviously haven’t been to non-airline lounges in North America to experience real overcrowding.

BEG lounges aren't really overcrowded but Dufry lounge is horrible, JU's lounge is mediocre. Could be better and I hope it improves with PP holders not eligible for it anymore, as it would be good for JU premium passengers to have a good experience. Champagne is a must!!! Also looking forward to new JU lounge at C gates / hope it has some nap rooms and more relaxing areas!
