Croatia Airlines' CEO, Jasmin Bajić, has held talks with the Ambassador of Kosovo to Croatia, Martin Berishaj, over the potential introduction of flights between Zagreb and Pristina. Mr Bajić noted the carrier would review the possibility of launching the service and analyse the operational and commercial aspects of the route. For his part, Ambassador Berishaj said flights between the two cities would facilitate the movement of people and businesses, creating new opportunities for cooperation and development. Croatia Airlines discontinued flights between Zagreb and Pristina at the end of the 2017 summer season.
Another political destination that will bring financial loss. OU in this case is 25 years late. Back then, UNMIK and KFOR staff were loaded and desperate for weekend breaks. Many letters on the topic were sent to OU without response. Adria, Swiss, LH and Austrian made millions, OU zero. Too late now Buzin, too late too little.

DeleteOn point. The Buzim apparatchik prefer drinking their coffee and eating their morning burek, instead of doing business. I think people who call themselves patriots should know the meaning of the term. To be a patriot means, to serve its motherland and help develop it. Either they act like parrots, maybe due to their bad English skills, or are like patriot missiles, destroying the industry, due to the lack of basic education.

Probably a mix of both. I hope that they manage to extract a large amount of subsidies from Berishaj several million euros if not it will be sad for Croatian tax payers to pay and lose money for this nonsense

ReplyDeleteYes the tour operator flights 2 years ago between PRN-ZAG were a disaster. It got cancelled after just a few flights.

DeleteHow is it close enough for bus when it's 10+ hours, that's not manageable for many people
DeleteZagreb to Prishtina or Prizren by bus costs 50 Euro one way, you can get at least two bags with you and it takes 11 hours to Prishtina. By car it is about 7 hours.

And with their high prices we know that they wont.

DeleteOU are not expensive. Once you add Ryanair's extortionate add on fees they become much more expensive. It is a myth that Ryanair is cheap!

DeleteThey cant fill up the planes in SKP with over 70% LF and they are planning PRN which is 40mins away. If they are looking for transfer pax, i dont know what they plan to offer? Munich, Zurich, Frankfurt and Amsterdam? Ridicilous

DeleteAnon 14:24 Prishtina has all those routes already. Berlin all-year round and CPH with SAS at least during summer (May-Oct).
