Air Serbia registers Budapest passenger growth

Air Serbia has seen passenger numbers grow on its Belgrade - Budapest service, with figures increasing 14.7% year-on-year. The carrier handled 62.539 passengers between the two capitals. During the year, the airline deployed its ATR72-600 aircraft on the route, with exception to a single rotation operated with the Airbus A319.

      It's about 60%. Since the route is on ATR and is very short that is a good result.

      It's ok when you take into consideration this is a yearly average which takes into accont the slow months as well. Also this route was launched with a high number of frequencies and it relies quite a bit on transfers.

      Add to that an economical plane operating a short flight and you get a very solid result. Interestingly enough, best performing flights are those in the noon wave of departures, the one that connects onto Western Europe.
