NEWS FLASH

Lauda Europe, part of the Ryanair Group, is inviting A320 Type Rated Captains and experienced A320 Rated and Non-Rated First Officers to attend its upcoming pilot recruitment roadshow in Zagreb. The event will be held at the Canopy by Hilton Zagreb City Centre on July 30, 2025, with two sessions scheduled at 10:00 and 12:00. Each session will last up to two hours, offering attendees a chance to meet Lauda’s Pilot Recruitment and Flight Operations Team and learn more about available opportunities.

The carrier is actively expanding within Europe’s largest airline group and is offering competitive salaries, fixed roster patterns (five days on, four days off), and strong career progression pathways. The roadshow aims to present firsthand what pilots can expect from a career at Lauda Europe. Interested candidates can register here.

FR is going to get rid of all the Lauda A320s when their leases expire. What will the pilots do then?
Look again for another airline who flies Airbuses and in all likelihood relocate away from Zagreb?

Few replace them with aircrafts from a different manufacturer that require a different pilot type rating.

Didn't Ryanair recently extend the leases? It will be years before the A320s leave the fleet.
