Air Montenegro has wet-leased a Boeing 737-400 aircraft from Turkish charter carrier Tailwind Airlines. The 31-year-old-jet has been operating on behalf of the Montenegrin flag carrier since last week due to delays with the arrival of the airline’s fourth Embraer E195 aircraft. A wet-lease is a leasing arrangement where the lessor provides an aircraft to the lessee complete with flight crew, maintenance and insurance.

At least aircraft change excuse is now valid
ReplyDeleteTC-TLE arrived at TGD on 11th of June, at it went few times to Turkey do to some charters. Now they sent TC-TLC

ReplyDeleteI flew yesterday (13.7.) LJU-TGD and the plane is really crap. They had regular Air Montenegro service.

ReplyDeleteWith all my respect to exyuaviation.com which generally provides 1st hand information about the air transport scene in the Balkans area, it is surprising that such a news took more than one month to be published (July 14th), more than one month after this ACMI lease started (as above mentioned by another observer) and just three days before it ended, knowing TC-TLC made its last 4O revenue flight on July 17th and was ferried back to Antalya the day after.
