Air Serbia - Alitalia expand codeshare partnership

Air Serbia has expanded its codeshare partnership with Alitalia by adding its designator code and flights numbers onto the latter's service between Rome and Johannesburg in South Africa. The two airlines now codeshare on over forty routes amongst each other. The Serbian carrier has its codes on Alitalia's flights from Rome to Ancona, Barcelona, Belgrade, Bologna, Bari, Brindisi, Catania, Cairo, Casablanca, Florence, Genoa, Ibiza, Lamezia Terme, Lampedusa, Madrid, Mahon, Milan Malpensa, Naples, Palermo, Palma de Mallorca, Pisa, Reggio Calabria, Turin, Trieste, Venice and Verona.

      Alitalia is still considered as partner airline by Etihad (higher level status then codeshare).
