Blue Air to launch Croatia flights

NEWS FLASH


Romanian low cost carrier Blue Air has announced the launch of new seasonal flights from Bucharest to Split and Dubrovnik next summer. Services will commence on June 23 and June 28 respectively. They will run twice per week with the 189-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Split and Dubrovnik are part of seven new routes being introduced by the airline next summer.       It's much easier for a local LCC to judge demand, plane availability, and more easily adjust pricing according to competition in the local market, than for a foreign carrier (in this case OU) to have a good sense of demand, pricing and frequency, etc. in that same local market.
