I had to read it twice but yes, I agree, 42% of pre-Covid traffic until 31 May is not bad at all.

42% of pre-pandemic traffic is just an amazing result. Other countries in region should do what Slovenia did. Sell their national airline to people who will bankrupt it and sell airports to owners who don't give a sh*t for it.

I just got it today! I thought it was 42% of YEARLY pre-2020 traffic, but it’s not. It’s 42% of the traffic between JAN-MAY 2019. That is not good at all. That should have been close to even if Fraport’s leadership had been any good!

In 2000 I flew from LJU to PRN on a plane full of international UN and other peacekeepers. The flight had a LF of 110%. It was like this for years. LJU made a killing during the conflicts of the 90s. Now that things are not as hot in the region, they revert to being a provincial airport.

Flights are PACKED in Lju, Wizz upgrading to A321s, LH upgrading almost all flights from Muc to A319 next month, and all Fra flights are upgraded to a mix of A319/20s, Swiss is filling flights like there is no tomorrow, and Amsterdam has more sold out flights than the ones with empty seats.
Slovenia is for some reason booming, and it's a shame that they didn't opt for national carrier - as at least this summer, it would be easy to break - eaven if not even profit.
