NEWS FLASH

Mostar Airport has completed work on the installation of a precision approach path indicator (PAPI), which is a system of lights on the side of the runway threshold that provides visual descent guidance information during final approach. It is located on the left-hand side of the runway approximately 300 meters beyond the landing threshold. “The importance of this project is reflected in the increased safety and precision in performing aircraft landing operations. Pilots are provided with a clearer assessment of the landing path, reducing the possibility of error and easing the landing process, especially in conditions of reduced visibility or at night. In addition to the above, it is important to note that this project greatly contributes to the operational efficiency of Mostar Airport”, the airport said in a statement.
