NEWS FLASH

The Serbian Civil Aviation Directorate has said the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding in Air Transport between Serbia and Turkey in Istanbul last week will result in the introduction of new flights from Niš and Kraljevo to Turkey. The head of the regulator, Mirjana Čizmarov, met with the Ambassador of Turkey to Serbia, Ilhan Saygili, where the two discussed the implementation of the agreement. “The results of the recent bilateral negotiations in Istanbul were presented to the Ambassador, where new goals were agreed upon, including linking Niš and Kraljevo with new points in Turkey, as well as further strengthening cooperation in civil aviation between the two countries”, the Directorate said. Both Niš and Kraljevo currently boast two weekly flights to Istanbul’s main airport operated by Air Serbia under a Public Service Obligation contract with the Serbian government.

Okay, AJet will likely fly to Nis from either Sabiha Gökcen or Izmir, but who can fly to KVO?

Air Serbia already flies charters from Nis to Antalya. Charters from KVO are not possible.

Could the wet leased Bulgarian E190 do the KVO without restriction?

Why charters cannot be operated by the ATR? I understand it's not common, it might be expensive etc, but that's something different from "cannot".

There is no fueling in KVO so Turkish beach destinations are not possible with the ATR due to a lack of range. Possibly ADB might be within range. ERJ's are restricted with operations in KVO, I'm not sure if KVO's runway can handle the weight of the E190 fully loaded.

I don't know what was doing but yesterday was a flight from Turin (Torino) but landed in BEG due to fog in KVO. In the afternoon landed and leave KVO bound to Turin. Operator - Vista jet, Challenger 850.

Pored lepog terminala na Moravi, nece moci bez obnovljene piste. Za opterecenja kategorije A221. I uspostavljanja servisa za punjenje goriva. Ugradnje ILS sistema. To je za pocetak.
Nista novo.

Apart from the fact that you lie about the number of daily flights, perhaps if locals flew more there would be more flights.
